So, you’re hanging out with your old man or grandpa this Father’s Day? Sweet! Let’s make it a day to remember. Here’s a chill list of stuff you can do together that will be a hit.

Hit up a sports game: Snag some tickets to his favorite team’s game if your pops are all about sports. Rock those team colors and cheer loudly! But hey, if getting around is tough for him, no sweat—bring the game home. Set up a cozy spot, grab some snacks, and root for the home team from the couch.

Games night: Who doesn’t love a good game night? Break out the board games or cards and have a blast. Get the grandkids in on the action and make it a family affair. Or, if he’s got a poker face, invite his buddies over for a friendly game.

Dinner and a movie, old-school style: Treat him to his favorite grub and catch a flick. It’s a classic combo that never gets old. And if you’re feeling nostalgic, find a drive-in theater for a throwback experience with popcorn and stars above.

Golf or bowling: Whether he’s a pro on the greens or at the lanes, spending the day playing his favorite game is a hole-in-one idea. Mini-golf is a great pick, too, especially if you’ve got little ones tagging along.

Explore the great outdoors: The U.S.A. has scenery for days, so why not stroll in the park or hit the road for some star-gazing? If city life is more his vibe, check out a museum or art gallery. There’s always something cool to see.

Concert or theater show: If he’s into music or drama, score some tickets to a live show. Jazz bars are a smooth choice, and who knows, you might even catch him busting a move. Local theater productions can be just as incredible and won’t break the bank.

Go fish: If he’s the fishing type, find a sweet spot by the lake and cast a line. It’s chill, it’s peaceful, and who knows, you might reel in the big one.

Beach day: Sun, sand, and waves—what’s not to love? Build sandcastles. Just don’t forget the sunscreen!

Photoshoot fun: Get all spiffed up and strike a pose. Whether you hire a pro or DIY with your phone, it’s all about making those memories last. Throw in some goofy props for laughs.

And if you’re not sure what he’d like to do, just ask him! Join in on his hobbies, whether it’s woodworking, gardening, or just chilling at home. Chat about the good old days and enjoy the company. After all, Father’s Day is all about showing your dad some love and having a great time together.
